My name is Rachel Anne Ellsworth and I'm the Founder of Primary Care Consulting Inc. My education background is in Business Administration and Sales Management. Out of college I achieved the position of Manager of the Kensington Chamber of Commerce where I worked closely with the business community in the Kensington and surrounding areas. After two wonderful years with the Chamber I was offered the Management role with the Kensington Cultural Foundation which allowed me to work in the School system instructing creative arts projects, drama and traditional music. During this time I worked directly with children and youth with disabilities and saw that when they participated in the activities I instructed their difficulties seemed to fade away and everyone was on a level playing field. Small group sizes, one on one attention and general understanding worked.
With my personal experience of growing up with two siblings with disabilities and then my professional experience, I decided a program needed to be developed because nothing was out there except a 1970's-style institutionalized environment once a person was out of the school system. I wanted more for my siblings and the children I got to know. That is what PCC Inc. is all about, offering more and being more.
