Current Services/Programs Being Offered
1. Daytime Support Program (Individualized Curriculum/Lecture Series):
Focus on budgeting, independent living, employability skills, social skills/role-playing, community resources, active living, math & money concepts, literacy & current affairs. Monthly registration for 5 days - $860, 4 days - $688, 3 days - $516, 2 days - $344, 1 day - $172.
2. Interactive Learning Program (Group Style Program):
Focus on creative arts, theme/group work, money concepts, current affairs, topics guests, life skills, literacy, social skills development and role-playing. Registration for 5 days - $860, 4 days - $688, 3 days - $516, 2 days - $344, 1 day - $172.
3. Social Groups:
A.) Social Ties - Focus on social skill sets, role playing, appropriate interaction with peers and bringing skills from the classroom to the community (meeting weekly at PCC Inc. in the evening). Cost is $68 per month.
B.) Social Time - Focus on positive interaction through in-house fun activities, movies, crafts, games, etc. (meeting weekly at PCC Inc. in the late afternoon). Cost is $68 per month.
4. Summer Youth Program:
This program is available to those youth (ages 14 to 21) who are still going to school but are looking to get a head start in community-based programming to improve their life skills. The Youth Program is an introduction to the Daytime Support Program with emphasis on budgeting, employability skills, independent living, math & money concepts, etc. The program runs Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the cost is $40 per day. Transportation is available at an additional cost. Program begins in early June after exams.
5. Drama/Theatre Group (inclusive* - age 12+):
Focus on the development and structure of drama skills. Group will work on all aspects of theatre and put on related productions for the community. Cost $68 per month. Offered once a week.

Travel bills must be paid at the first of each month starting in January, 2006. Please remember to add the extra $8 per day roundtrip if your person works outside the facility and is transported by PCC Inc. If a client misses a day due to sickness and cannot use the transportation service please call the van phones and notify the driver by 7 a.m. For any transportation cancellations, a seven-day notice must be given.
*If you registered for Full Time Programming and Full Time Transportation you can select a monthly social group for Free.
Extra Programming Being Offered As Part Of DTS & Interactive:
* Career Explorations - This introductory transitional program offers hands-on work skills under the direction of a qualified job coach. Each job site will be selected very carefully to ensure a safe and productive volunteer environment. The program offers a great foundation for those interested in Business Ventures.
* Business Ventures - A hands-on approach to the job force and working towards independent work skills. This is a great transitional program aspect not offered anywhere else. Under the direction of a qualified job coach small teams work hands on in the community and receive a training allowance for their time.
* Eye Opening Views - A monthly news magazine that talks about the news and events from the point of view of a person with a disability. This is the invention of the clients and administration at PCC Inc. Yearly subscriptions can be bought by calling 1 (902) 436-0005 at the cost of only $24.
